PLEASE NOTE: Braaibaas HQ normally closes for the holidays on the 19th December till 9 January. Orders placed during this time will be processed and shipped from after 9 January the following year.

 

This website, images, designs words and store are the property of BraaiBaas™. The usage of the site, and/or the purchase of products on this site is subject to your agreement of the terms and conditions set forth herein. If you are not in agreement with these terms and conditions, please do not proceed any further.

 

Detailed description of goods and/or services

BraaiBaas™ is a brand business based within the clothing industry, food industry, equipment industry and others, who markets, sells and distributes these items to our customers.

 

Order Processing

Subject to availability & the receipt of payment, orders are usually processed on the same business day if the purchase is made before noon & the following businesses day if the purchase was made after noon.

Delivery policy

Delivery in South Africa:

If you place and pay for your order before noon on a business day, we try our best to ship it that day.

If you place and pay for your order after noon we endeavour to ship the order the following business day.

Generally, all orders should be delivered in 1-3 working days after the courier service has collected it the parcel from us but please bear in mind we no longer have control over the delivery period once in the carriers hands. Deliveries could be delayed due to various reasons. 

BraaiBaas offers FREE shipping to your door for all orders over +R599. For purchases under R599, an additional delivery fee (see table below) excluding vat will be charged which covers all major South African towns and cities.

***If you live on a farm or any outlying area, please contact us before placing your order to check if we can deliver to your location and/ if an additional delivery fee is applicable for your circumstance.

BraaiBaas will not accept liability for missing or damaged items unless this is brought to the attention of the delivery company. Please do not sign for your goods until you have physically checked them and are satisfied that they are in good condition.

At BraaiBaas, we make use of reliable courier service providers. If there is nobody to sign for the package at the given delivery address, you will be phoned on the number you have provided in your BraaiBaas profile upon registration or during checkout. If you cannot be reached, the delivery will be attempted in the following days thereafter. Please contact us if you have any special delivery requirements.

 

International Deliveries

Damage or loss

BraaiBaas will not be held responsible for any loss/es or damage/s to products when:

  • it is in the hands of the courier on its way to you.
  • If you've test fit it on.
  • taken it out if the official BraaiBaas Packaging.
  • Test fitted.
  • Given over as a gift.
  • Many more instances could be applicable*

Wanna make an exchange? NO PROBLEM! Here's how to get started:

FIRSTLY, please ensure that you meet the return and exchange conditions below before starting the process:

  • Purchases during COVID-19 Nationwide Shutdown, Black Friday or on any promotions, deals, or sales can not be refunded or exchanged. 
  • To be eligible for a return or an exchange, the garments must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, in it's original packaging, all tags/ labels still attached and must be accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • We offer an exchange or return period of 30 days from the date of purchase. Exchanges or returns after 30 days will regrettably not be considered. 
  • Non-returnable items include: Swimwear, Underwear, Gift Cards, Footwear (Socks and Flip-Flops) as well as sales / promotions / discounted / Black Friday items nor those bought during the COVID-19 Shutdown.

If all these criteria have been met, simply send an email to info@braaibaas.com to commence the process. The email should include the details of the product you are returning, preferably including a photo, as well as, your order number and/or proof of purchase.

Here's how it all works:

If the reason for the return/exchange was our mistake, we will gladly cover the cost of transport to collect your order and either send you a new one or process a refund. In the case of returns and refunds, we reserve the right to charge a minimal restocking fee of 20% of the order value.

If you have had a change of heart, made an error with your size or style, all courier costs are liable by you. You may use your own courier or request that we make the arrangements on your behalf, provided you have paid for it upfront. 

Once your returned item/s has been received, inspected and declared in 'perfect condition', only then will we prepare the new item/s for shipping or process a refund. This process may take anything up to 5-7 business days to process.

All refunds are processed through through safe and secure payment gateways. All refunds are processed through PayFast and credited directly to your card. PayFast usually takes 5-7 business days to process the transaction but we will keep you updated as best as possible.

 

We really hate this process because we want all our customers to be ecstatic the moment your Braaibaas item/s arrive and that they are the right size and fit perfectly for you. Therefore we created the Post Order Policy. We've found that most exchanges happen because of silly mistakes like the item/s purchased do not fit exactly the way you'd like and so on. This was created to ensure that you get the best right from the date of purchase!

 

Can I rather exchange in store?

Braaibaas doesn't have a brick and mortar store but if you are around and willing to make the drive to our HQ then yes. We also have wholesalers with physical stores that could be of assistance but only if the exchange still complies with all the criteria above.

Marketing and advertising

By agreeing and/or subscribing to BraaiBaas™ email and text notifications, you agree to receive automated marketing email/s and/or text/s messages from BraaiBaas™ about our products and services at the phone number and/or email address/es you provided when you subscribed and check out, and that the email and/or messages may be sent via automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Message and/or email frequency is recurring. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and/or email and data rates may apply. Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT to opt-out and HELP for customer support. You may receive an additional text message and/or email for confirming your decision to opt-out. You (the client) understand and agree that attempting to opt-out by any means other than texting the opt-out commands above is not a reasonable means of opting out and you may not be removed properly from our systems.

Payment options accepted

We accept any & all payments made via Visa & MasterCard credit cards or Visa, MasterCard & Maestro Debit Cards and others payment options. Also, by direct bank transfer into the BraaiBaas bank account, the details of which will be provided upon special request. PayPal is also an option for customers who wish to use the services. Please keep in mind, PayPal is not our primary way of accepting payments therefore it may cause delays in payments being notified, which will also cause delays for the item/s being released to the couriers or to you (the client).

 

If proof of payments is not sent & received within 48 hours of the order being placed, the order shall then be cancelled and forfeited.

 

Card acquiring & security

Card transactions will be acquired for BraaiBaas via payment gateways PayFast who are the approved payment gateway for all South Africans (individuals and/ or companies).

 

Acquiring Bankig details: PayFast, Zapper and Snapscan all use the strictest form of encryption, & no card details are stored on the website. Users may go to any of these payment providers websites to view their security certificates & security policies.

 

Customer details are separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by BraaiBaas separately from your card details which are entered by the client on the payment providers secure websites. For more detail users may go to any of the respective payment providers websites.

 

Merchant Outlet country & transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is the Republic of South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

 

Prices

BraaiBaas reserves the right to change prices at any time.

 

Variation

BraaiBaas may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without any notice to anyone.
